Toll house

For years, I've been seeing this house on my way home. You easily be intimidated with the design of the restaurant and the cars outside.

I had a first taste of it when it had a branch at marquee mall. Pero for the photos, we dined at the original store. My wife wanted khani salad so much, that we even have to take a long ride mula sa kabilang dulo ng angeles papunta dun. We originally had the branch in Marquuee Mall in mind. We had to change our mind kasi nag-lunchbreakang drivers ng free shuttle.

The theme of the resto was, as I see it, country pero ung food bordering filipino at american.

These pics were saved as draft for months here waiting to be posted.

I was struck by the design of this taco corner.

I was so dying to have it photographed but at that time i don't have camera. I also don't have opportunity to stop at the area. Going to church, malapit cia sa babaan ng free shuttle of a mall. there were instances that I was at the area pero close ang place ng day time. When I got the chance to pass by one evening, the atmosphere of the area was intimidating to take picture nang hindi ka kakain. When I checked, medyo pricey cia just to take pictures. For those oriented na with mexican food, ok lang ang P115. It was on another visit that I ordered food and got the opportunity to take pics.

Media Noche - Happy New Year 2015

We were not at home during Christmas Noche Buena. We visited both sides of my family so we were only served as guests.

For Media Noche - I got the privilege of cooking for our midnight feast. The excitement started as early as listing down the menu and these dishes should be executed as my own versions.

1. Macaroni salad
2. Spaghetti
3. Mechado
4. Sopas
5. Fruit Salad
6. Imbotido or embotido

In the early evening FB posts started to flood in with Media Noche tables, everyone boasting their cooking skills. Below is my FB post on the New Year's Day itself.
